Progressive Rehab Program development is key focus of this in-person full day workshop. It drawers on decades of clinical experience and knowledge to show you how to take your lumbar rehab skills to the Next Level.
This workshop focuses on the lumbar spine and covers the key physiological elements of a range of back pain presentations, considerations for lumbo-pelvic assessment & exercise selection.
As rehab professionals working in a space that includes back pain problems - whether diagnosed or not, we need to be able to identify key elements of common clinical presentations and understand how to adapt the exercises we are prescribing to the characteristics of the presenting condition.
By the end of the online program y you should have a sound knowledge of the "what" and "why" that will differentiate your assessment and exercise choices for a range of conditions from simple strains through to more complex presentations including

This is a 4 hour workshop that is practical and clinical skill focused designed to build on the knowledge from the
"Just the Theory" Lumbar Rehab 1 course.
This half day workshop includes practicing the application of pre-rehabilitation clinical assessments of the lumbar spine, clinical applications of findings related to common lumbar injury presentations, and the basic tips and tricks of early phase lumbar stabilization post injury (when deficient)
Clinical reasoning is woven into the workshop; and the goal is to consolidate your ability to apply the Lumbar Spine Rehab theory to your clinical client load immediately with confidence.
Prior to enrolling in this course, it is recommended attendees have completed the Lumbar Rehab 1 "Just the Theory" course or similar.
A limited number of spaces will also be available for people who have completed the "Lumbar Rehab 1" course previously and are seeking a clinical update / refresher. Please contact me directly if you are interested in attending as a refresher course**.

This full day (8 hrs CPD) workshop expands the knowledge base from Lumbar Rehab 1 into additional techniques to progress your rehab sequencing for clients with low back pain. It will be presented with a blend of both practical and theory component.
In this workshop, i draw on my decades of clinical knowledge, research and practical application of how I achieve successful outcomes with my own clinical case load - over and over again.
This workshop will further build your assessment techniques and rehab options. It considers multiple schools of thought on back pain management and helps you progress someone through a 12 -20 week program to regain physical strength in their spine and return to sports / work / general exercise with confidence.
My programs also integrate careful consideration of the underlying structural physiology post injuries - and I how this may limit rehabilitation adaptation and progressions irrespective of pain.
