An Experienced Approach to Rehab & Recovery that Integrates
Pathophysiology, Biomechanics, Exercise Science & Clinical Reality
I get it - even after 30 years of clinical practice, musculoskeletal rehab is still complex.
Client presentations never seem to come straight out of a text book. Funny that...
You really cant use a recipe or 'protocol' successfully in clinical practice - people are just too complex. However, the greater your understanding, the larger your rehabilitation tool kit, the more you will enjoy the challenge of deciphering what will work best for the person in front of you.
There are plenty of continuing education opportunities to chose from - choosing wisely is important to ensure you get the knowledge you need to professionally grow in the right spaces. Skip to Courses Information HERE
That's where I can help you.
With 25 years of clinical rehab experience helping 000's of people in their recovery + a decade research and academic experience - I understand not only the academic background of "what" but also the "why" and "how".
I also continue to work clinically with a focus on complex rehabilitation clients and continue to embrace the challenges people present with.
Through my career, I have attended numerous professional development courses and conferences - mostly internationally, presented at a few, published articles, and mentored and trained a hundreds of health and rehabilitation professionals on the way.
I understand : it is a journey, we never stop learning, and I have plenty to amazing information that I have learnt to integrate into my clinical approach and the workshops I teach.
I am a dual post grad qualified Exercise Physiologist and Physiotherapist - and maintain an exercise focused approach for the clients I see. Its what I love, what I do well, what yields great results - and mostly - exactly what people need.
I am not holding anything back, and am handing off to you a comprehensive version of "a lot".
What I have integrated into my workshops is focused on you and your learning.
When I teach, the pace and content is easily adapted to ensure you can pick up the clinical pearls that may rapidly enhance your rehab approach and help improve your clients outcomes.
Over 90% of the people that complete one of my courses return to attend at least 1 other. And - there are quite a few that have attended every single workshop I have created.
Listening to what people want - I know you are hankering for more hands on skill development, ideas and concepts that are easily implemented with your clients, and a deeper understanding of what you are doing.
So - I am stacking even more practical elements into my 2024 courses - so - Lets do that!
2024 continues on with face to face workshops on lumbar and shoulder rehabilitation. These are all face to face training workshops and are always a great opportunity for networking and meeting your colleagues - as well as honing your practical skills.
I also have 2 new additional courses that will be released in 2025. The first is on Communication and Connecting with your clients, and the second is on Menopause and Age related changes in Women. More to come on these; have a few projects on the go at the moment so will get details out as soon as they are ready.
Don't delay booking in for too long as there are only so many weekends in the year...
