This Course Presents all of the Information from the intensive workshop with a slightly modified format to assist in the learning process of the course.
Applied Shoulder Assessment & Rehab
This is 4 hours of CPD focused on
clinical practical skills including application of both pre-rehab clinical assessment, rehab techniques, case studies & clinical reasoning.
This is a Face to Face Workshop
Pre-req = Shoulder Rehab 1: Theory or similar prior knowledge.
Shoulders can be complex, but this course aims to provide you with a clear process to help you understand your key clinical findings and make informed decisions on where to commence your rehab program.
This workshop integrates the key elements of shoulder presentations frequently seen in the rehabilitation setting and is a blend of practical and theory to enable confident application of concepts to your clients immediately following the course.
The program for the day includes key elements of subjective and physical assessment, problem and dysfunction identification and clinical reasoning to help you decipher the key findings and establish the ideal starting points for your rehabilitation program ahead.
A range of common presentations, key assessment findings and rehabilitation considerations are also interwoven through the workshop including
Clinical rationale always remains in focus, along with the opportunity to practice the practical elements taught through the day.
My goal with this course is to consolidate my decades of clinical experience in shoulder assessment and rehabilitation, biomechanical understanding and evidence based research in a format that is easy for you to pick up and apply safely and effectively with your shoulder client.
This "Making Sense of the Shoulder" workshop has also been accredited with ESSA for 8 CPD units.

OcThis workshop is available as an AT YOUR OWN PACE Online Program - for you to complete the workshop at your own pace.
This course integrates the key elements of the "making sense of the shoulder" course, further expanding the details of the
to assist with learning the content delivered online.
Self directed activities will be integrated into each module to facilitate the learning process further.
This online workshop consists of 6 x 60 minute sessions that can be comfortably completed over a 6-7 week period. The course pace is spread to enable implementation of key components learnt to your clinical practice - with a goal of a comprehensive understanding of shoulder presentations by completion of the course.
There will also be opportunities for Q&A and content based discussions with Donna McCook through your learning period.
On Completion - A certificate for 6 hours of CPD will be available for both courses once all modules are completed.
It is recommended that this course is completed prior to enrollment into the practical based course - Applied Assessment and Rehab which will assist you to master your clinical rehab skills and techniques for the shoulder.

This is a 4 hour workshop that is practical and clinical skill focused designed to build on the knowledge from the
"Just the Theory" course.
This half day workshop includes practicing the application of pre-rehabilitation clinical assessments of the shoulder, clinical applications of findings related to common shoulder pathologies, pre-rehab muscular assessment and rehabilitation tricks and techniques to help you get the best possible outcomes for your clients.
Clinical reasoning is woven into the workshop; and the goal is to consolidate your ability to apply the Shoulder Rehab theory to your clinical client load immediately with confidence.
A limited number of spaces will also be available for people who have completed the "Making Sense of the Shoulder" course and are seeking a clinical refresher. Please contact me directly if you are interested in attending as a refresher course**.
